Find my top Gift Guides here and here!
With the holiday season quickly approaching, I know that if you’re anything like me, Christmas gifts are on your mind! I always try to gift thoughtful items that the recipient will enjoy and use and that can be tough to find or even think of! I’ve created these gift guides to help you when searching for the perfect gift for your husband, mom, dad, friends, grandparents, children, siblings, boyfriend and more in hopes that they make your holiday shopping easier. My tip: shop now so that you aren’t biting your nails anxiously awaiting the packages to arrive at the last minute; mail delivery services will be so incredibly busy over the next month and you don’t want to risk it coming too late to gift!
Click any of the images below to easily shop the items pictured and more in that category!
We all have that person in our life that seems to have everything don’t we?! Whether it’s your mom, sister or in laws here is a roundup of Gifts for the Person that has Everything.
This selection of Gifts for the Outdoor Enthusiast would work great as stocking stuffer or under the tree gifts! If you know anyone that loves hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing or anything else outdoors these are sure to be well received and used frequently in their adventures.
Many of you told me your boyfriend or husband was the most difficult person for you to buy for so I decided to add this gift guides into the mix. Fun, thoughtful gifts for your husband or boyfriend. These kits like mancrates or the hot sauce making kit are all unique gifts for men that they are sure to enjoy (would be great for your dad or father-in-law too). Classic gift items such as watches and wallets are sure to be appreciated as well as anything customized such as a keychain. If your guy is anything like my hubby he can always use a pair of new Adidas sneakers and a massager is another practical but popular piece.
My brother recently purchased a home and it got me thinking about all of the people that have purchased homes over the last year. There are so many things needed/useful that homeowners would enjoy but don’t necessarily spend the money on, especially if they are first time homebuyers purchasing many items at once for the first time, so I rounded up a Gift Guide for the New Homeowner encompassing such items. The knife block set in white and the Barefoot Dreams blanket are on my wishlist!
The hottest items for the techie on your list! Whether it’s your spouse, sibling, child, babysitter, or anyone in between these are sure to be a hit and something fun for the recipient to play with over the holidays, no matter their age! ;-)
If you have someone that’s hard to buy gifts for but has a favorite sports team, you’re in luck! Teams like the Seattle Seahawks have everything from beanies and sweatshirts to Pillow Pets and camping chairs designed after them! Many of the items linked above come in different designs for other NFL/sports teams as well so if the Seahawks aren’t the team you’re looking for (though I recommend them ;-) ) you can still click the links and shop your/your gift recipient’s team!
I received a lot of responses from my question in stories regarding who is the hardest to shop for and quite a few people said they have a hard time knowing what to get a new baby! Although babies don’t need much it’s fun to gift them adorable items that they (and their parents) will enjoy so I’ve included this list of favorites. These would also work as great gifts for the new mama or expecting mama to be.
I hope these gift ideas have been helpful for you and make your shopping easier! I have so much fun shopping for my loved ones and hope you are excited to gift these to yours too! If you have any questions or need a more specific gift idea feel free to message me on Instagram and I’d be happy to see what I can find for you! :-)

This post was sponsored by Jenny Craig but the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.
If you follow along on Instagram or Pinterest, you’ve seen my
journey with Jenny Craig over the past few months. It has helped me lose weight* and I really feel that it has reset my gut health and taught me better portion control.
*Typical weight loss on the Rapid Results program is 11.6 pounds in the first four weeks and 1-2 pounds per week thereafter.
Life gets busy and between moving, taking care of young children and running a business, I needed a meal program that was fast and easy to get me back on track; insert the Jenny Craig Rapid Results Program. After a phone consult determining any allergies and food aversions, my first delivery was scheduled for arrival.
The meals and snacks were delivered right to my door, packed wonderfully and frozen items were kept cold with dry ice. I love receiving these shipments and unboxing them to see all of the yummy items I get to eat! Each box comes with a schedule stating which breakfast/lunch/dinner/snack/dessert to have that day. Some of my favorites are the breakfast sandwiches, chicken street tacos, lasagna, cheeseburgers, kettle corn, and chocolate lava cake!
My shipment of Jenny Craig comes with just about everything I eat over a two week period on their Rapid Results program. The only items I need to grab at the store are Greek yogurt, fruits and vegetables. I enjoy the wide variety of meals and snack options and have been really impressed with the delicious taste of it all!
The 12 week Rapid Results program is built to keep your calories in check, all nutrition needs met and you only eat within a 12 hour window of the day. This helps prevent late night snacking which usually isn’t very healthy or necessary anyway! After a few days I completely stopped thinking about snacking as my body had quickly gotten used to not eating at that time; I think this was a vital part of my weight loss journey.
Not only have I lost weight and inches, pretty effortlessly in my opinion, my clothes are fitting better and I truly feel better. I don’t find myself getting stomach aches or my body feeling bloated or off anymore and it’s been such a blessing.
Throughout the course of the program I have travelled, attended birthday parties, gone to restaurants with family and more. With a little planning it has not been difficult to stay on track. For example, if I know my family is going out to dinner I eat my Jenny Craig packaged dinner for that day right before we leave for dinner then when we get to the restaurant I order a side salad (and bring my own individually portioned Jenny Craig dressing), since I am supposed to add a side vegetable to the packaged dinner to complete my meal anyway. It has been a nice way to still be involved in eating at meal time with them when we are out and about while still staying on track. Some of the meals come shelf stable and I will often take one with me if I know I will not be home for a meal and I will just eat it at room temperature.
I can honestly say I am impressed with the taste of the food. There has not been a single thing that I haven’t enjoyed. I look forward to my easy meals and love the variety of meals offered. I previously was one to stay away from certain foods such as cheese and pasta entirely but after incorporating them back into my meals with the Jenny Craig Rapid Results program, I am now better equipped to
gauge how much to have of a certain item and allow it in the proper quantities going forward.
I would definitely recommend this program to anyone looking to lose weight and/or inches and am happy to answer any questions you may have about my experience!

If you want to give a fab gift that she will remember for years to come while still staying under the $50 spending range, you’re in the right spot.
Barefoot Dreams is known for their ultra soft, luxurious cardigans that are perfect to cozy up in at home or wear on the go. Their equally amazing throw blankets have been a huge hit with consumers year round with their sumptuous texture and cute colors/prints. They are currently being offered at a major discount plus free shipping; it’s stock up time!
Anthropologie is a coveted brand by many and their vintage vibe soy wax candles are the perfect gift for the hostess, teacher, new home owner, and more! Anthropologie always delivers stunning pieces that are sure to have everyone asking about it.
This set of 3 wine tumblers from the AdoptStyle Good Vibes Collection is perfect for gifting as a whole or to break up into three smaller gifts for multiple individuals. Each wine tumbler comes with a lid and straw as well as free shipping for a limited time with code SHIPFORFREE.
This fuzzy slipper with crisscrossed straps is super soft and plush. Comes in so many perfect neutrals (the leopard print is my
favorite) as well as bold neons. They have hard rubber soles and ship for free! I also found this super similar pair on Amazon that comes in a bunch of cute colors (lots of pastel color options) too!
I’ve received so many messages about this beanie! It is beautifully designed; I love the fur pom! Color options keep selling out (and only sometimes restock) so be sure to grab it right away before it’s gone!
Are you seeing a commonality of these gift guide favorites?! It’s all so cozy! This snow leopard faux fur throw blanket is no exception. It comes in multiple prints and is under $30; an Amazon favorite with fabulous reviews!
I wear Victoria Emerson bracelets just about every day! They are stunning, well made, and affordable. Each of these stacks come to less than $50 each and I know that you, or anyone you gift it to, will adore their Victoria Emerson piece. Their line ranges from boho cuffs to wrap bracelets to watches, necklaces and more!
This bag might be my most asked about piece of the year! Mine was around $50 but I just found it at another retailer for only $36! It comes in this brown color as well as in black and it is such a great dupe for the Louis Vuitton Neverfull Tote. I love handbags and love designer pieces but can’t always justify the price point on them and I know many of you are the same way so this is perfect! I am in love with the large size; I can throw so much in it! Snacks for the kids, water bottles, wallet, sunglasses, toys, crayons, kids hoodies, ballet shoes, you name it, I’ve probably had in in there! Great for anyone but especially moms like me whose kids are a bit older and you don’t need or want to carry a diaper bag anymore but still need something large enough to keep other random things for the littles (and yourself)! Grab it while it’s still available!
How adorable is this holiday baking set?! I know my girls would find it extra special to make their Christmas cookies with a set like this! Currently under $20 but retails for $60 so grab it ASAP! This would be a fun gift to give your Thanksgiving hostess upon arrival or snag one for yourself to be a part of all of your holiday baking cheer.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this roundup of gifts for her under $50! They are pieces that the ladies on your life are sure to love. Get your Christmas shopping done now and enjoy your time relaxing on the couch while everyone else scrambles to shop for presents! Which item is your favorite?! Be sure to tag me on Instagram when you receive it and let me know what you think! I hope you are having the best November and can’t wait to share more with you this holiday season!

We spent many days this past week at The Northwest Washington Fair in Lynden, WA. I have always made it a point to attend The Fair annually as an end of summer hurrah and was so excited to partner with The Fair this year to take you behind the scenes and inform you of all the fun there is to be had during fair week! If you follow me on Instagram you got an up close look at much of it over the last few days but if not (or if you need a refresher), here’s a recap!
For over 100 years The NWWA Fair has been a Pacific Northwest Favorite. It features a fun carnival complete with rides and games, yummy food, concerts, a demolition derby and a rodeo and highlights the agriculture of Whatcom County with barns full of animals ready for 4H/FFA showings and more!
My family had such a great time at the Demolition Derby, always held in the afternoon and evening on the first day of The Fair (Monday). I ordered these earmuffs for my girls on Amazon, as the derby can get pretty loud, and they worked great! I had gone many times but it was my girls’ first time at the derby and they were mesmerized by it; my youngest said it was her favorite part of our trip to the fair that day!
One thing no one can resist at the fair is all of the ridiculously amazing food! King corn dogs, funnel cakes, cotton candy, yummy PTA burgers, Shishkaberry, ice cream, poffertjes, and much, MUCH more! I’m drooling just thinking about all of the options! If you’ve never had a poffertje before, they are a traditional Dutch batter treat, resembling small, fluffy pancakes; do NOT pass them up!
Another fair favorite, for all ages, would be the animal barns. You are able to walk through the isles and see cows, horses, chickens, rabbits, llamas, goats, sheep, pigs and more! We really enjoyed the small animal experience too where we got to see a fresh new calf as well as two litters of piglets and my girls adored the fake cow that fairgoers were able to “milk”.
We decided to devote one day to rides and games and had a blast! The Fair provided a great variety of rides for all ages and though it was busy we never had to wait in line long! From the enormous Ferris Wheel and the Zipper to the Carousel and the giant slide, there is something for everyone. We played a few of the kids games too and my girls were so happy to walk away winners (many kids games were offered in which everyone is a winner, so as a parent of a toddler that was sooo appreciated)!
We enjoyed creating memories at The Fair this past week and I hope you did too! We ran into so many friends (like my friend Chelsea pictured below from Adopt Adventure Blog), family and acquaintances; it was fun to catch up with them all! My husband and I also attended the Larry the Cable Guy grandstand performance for date night and laughed harder than we have in a long time; it was such a great show! They also hosted Cheap Trick and Mark Chesnutt; I can’t wait to hear who all of the performers will be next year! You guys know I’m always crossing my fingers for The Backstreet Boys! ;-)

I can’t believe how quickly time passes! My youngest turned three years old this week and since she is in love with mermaids, fish, and all things blue/aqua, we celebrated her with a Little Mermaid Birthday Party!
I made this fun balloon garland with a kit from Confete Party Box. They sent all of the balloons (varying sizes and colors) and well as the pump and fishing line necessary to put it together. Confete offers prepackaged party boxes as well as the option to create your own custom party box like we did. I told them the theme and colors I wanted and they took it from there! The balloon garland is very easy to make and took me about an hour. Wondering how to make a balloon garland? It’s simple. You pump up the balloons with a hand pump, tie them together in pairs of two then tie each pair to a strand of fishing line.
Girls Mermaid Dresses and Princess Accessories here.
Girls Snap Clips here.
Thank you to Confete Party Box for gifting the decor. All opinions are my own.
Our Confete Party Box also consisted of adorable plates, wooden utensils, straws, cups, napkins, baking cups. The colors were perfect and quality was amazing! I love how they mixed stripes, colors and iridescent pieces, they came together so well.
We did an afternoon party of candy, snacks and cake. Safeway did a fabulous job on the cake (chocolate with cream cheese frosting-yum!), even including an Ariel figurine on top.
Our party included a magical visit from Ariel as well as bubbles, fun slap bracelets, and time spent getting mermaid tattoos. I ordered these dresses on Amazon and the girls are in love with them! They came with gloves, a necklace, earrings, a tiara, and a wand. Snap clips are from Luna + Liyah Hair Accessories.
The day couldn’t have gone any better! We all had so much fun celebrating and reminiscing over the past three years. Parties can be stressful and it made my life so much easier having adorable, coordinating decor sent right to my doorstep!
Have you used a party service? Do you do parties at your home? I’d love to hear about any upcoming celebrations happening in your life!

As we are approaching August I can’t help but start thinking about shopping for back to school items. I decided to share what we are getting not only for back to school but also items my kids use and love in general that makes life, especially during the busy school year, run smooth.
A back-to-school favorite of my girls is picking out a new backpack and lunchbox. For multiple years we have chosen to go with Pottery Barn Kids backpacks and they don’t disappoint! They come in so many cute colors, prints and styles plus you can personalize them! I let my girls choose which one they wanted and we decided to get a lunchbox and water bottle to match this year too! We just received them and couldn’t love them more! They come in multiple sizes, both backpacks pictured here are size large, and the lunchboxes come in multiple styles (we chose the ‘Cold’ option).
Purple Unicorn Backpack // Lunchbox // Water Bottle
Blue Unicorn Backpack // Lunchbox // Water Bottle
Use code SCHOOL to save 20% right now at Pottery Barn Kids right now! Select back-to-school items are already marked down 25-60%!
Back-to-school clothing and shoe shopping is always fun too! I usually get my girls a few high quality items they will wear a lot from the big Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (open the the public now)! We also grab a few of the adorable, high quality dresses from my friend Andrea at Dot Dot Smile Andrea Ames and round the shopping off with items from Target, Old Navy, H&M, and Macy’s.
Some items that I’m stocking up on, that can easily get overlooked are things like lice prevention items (no one wants to get lice!), multivitamins and great bedding to make the little one’s dreams extra sweet. This is what we have been using as a lice deterrent conditioning spray and this is what we have been using for shampoo for the kids over the last year and nobody in our house has gotten lice yet; fingers crossed that we never do! My girls also love “going to school” themed books and something as simple as that can be a great help at easing littles of their fears surrounding starting school or going to a new school.
Sleep is so important, especially on school nights. We are big fans of Beddy’s Beds. The bedding goes on like a fitted sheet but it’s a sheet/comforter set in one and it zips down the sides making bed making super fast and easy to do before school! My two and five year olds can make their beds unassisted with Beddy’s and they LOVE doing it: life changing! Even better, you can save 20% with my code HALEYP20 at Beddy’s right now!
What are some must-haves for you prior to a new school year starting?! I’d love to hear!
If you are local to Northwest Washington this is one event that you won't want to miss! The time is near for the Lynden "Razz Fest" Raspberry Festival and The 21st Annual Curt Maberry Memorial 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament sponsored and put on by The Muljat Group North. Growing up in Whatcom County, the Razz Fest has always been a highlight of the summer, bringing the community together through sports, shopping and good food! I remember attending it growing up, going there with my husband back when we were dating, and now it is so fun to take my girls there!
Taking place on Front Street in historic Downtown Lynden, the Raspberry Festival is Whatcom County's largest FREE to attend event. It takes place this Friday, July 19 from 10am-8pm and Saturday, July 20 from 8am-5pm.
