This year, more than ever, it’s important to remember our small shop owners and small businesses. Many have been forced to close their doors for periods of time due to COVID-19 and even those that never had a physical location to begin with have missed out on endless fairs and craft show opportunities in which they typically market their products. In addition to that, there are also fewer buyers this year due to job losses in our communities.
I’ve rounded up a few small businesses that I enjoy and wanted to share with you this season. I have shopped at and enjoy SO many small businesses and wish I could include everyone!

I am so excited to share Cascade Ice USDA Organic Sparkling Water with you guys today! If you are local to the Pacific Northwest like I am, you’ll be excited to hear that the company is located right in Everett, Washington.
I received compensation and product for this post from Unique Beverage Company, LLC. All opinions expressed here are my own.
I always make an effort to stay hydrated throughout the day as it’s one of the most important things you can do for your overall health. I find regular water gets boring day after day but don’t want the added calories or sugar that most beverages offer. Lately I’ve been enjoying Cascade Ice USDA Organic Sparkling Water; it’s my perfect match! It is free of calories, caffeine, sweeteners and sodium plus it comes in 9 delicious flavors, including Raspberry Lemonade, Pomegranate Mango, Ginger Lime, Citrus Twist, Black Raspberry, Grapefruit, Mixed Berry, Lemon Lime, and Cucumber. It’s bubbly and refreshing; perfect for enjoying after a workout, in a cocktail, with a meal or anytime you need a little pick-me-up! These 12 ounce cans are sold in packs of 8 in select stores across the country.
If you’re like me and regular water is just not cutting it anymore, definitely try Cascade Ice USDA Organic Sparkling Water. Fun and flavorful without sabotaging my health goals; it’s a win/win. I love all of the nine flavors but would have to say that the Black Raspberry and the Pomegranate Mango are the two I reach for the most. If you grab some, share it on socials and tag me @haleyparkerstyle plus use hashtag #DayMadewithCascade; I’d love to hear your thoughts and what your favorite flavor is!
I finally got around to posting E’s Llama Birthday Party photos from this summer (here), just in time for B’s birthday!😆She decoded to go with a Movie Theater party theme this year and it was so fun and unique! Our family loves popcorn and movie nights so we decided to finally invest in a popcorn machine and have already used it quite a few times. I purchased all of the party decor and accessories on Amazon except the solid plates, napkins and silverware which I found at The Dollar Tree. Popcorn Bowl cake is by @sweet_indulgence_pnw.
Dual purpose: I used paper popcorn boxes as party favor boxes too!

We love themed birthday parties in this house! For Emma’s 4th birthday she requested a llama party and it was so fun (and surprisingly pretty easy to find decor for)! We found llama party napkins, llama paper plates, a mini llama piñata (we used as table decor), pin the tail on the llama game, llama straws, llama tablecloth, llama party hats, a llama banner, llama girls t-shirt, llama party gift bags and more! All decor is linked to easily shop here. Cake and cookies are by the talented @momosmuffintops.
Money saving tip: Mix cute themed decor with plain colored coordinating pieces available at The Dollar Tree! We purchased the plain pink cups, plain green cups and pink plastic silverware from there!
Do you do themed parties? Once you start, it’s hard to stop😜but we sure have fun with it! What would be your dream party theme?
Gift Guides by personality type! I’ve included gift ideas for the jetsetter, for the beauty lover, fitness lover, leopard lover, camo cutie, homebody, techie, coffee lover, for the person that has everything😋, new baby (or new parents!) and the sports fanatic. What else should I add?! Happy Christmas shopping!😘
I love a good charcuterie board (I mean, who doesn’t!??🤤) but if you’re looking for something a bit more festive, a snack board is perfect for fall or Halloween parties! Not only are they fun and eye-catching but they can be super easy too.
I used all ready to eat snacks so the only thing left to do was arrange them on a platter. Be sure to choose snacks/candies of varying size and texture to be the most appealing and fill your platter as full as possible. If you can’t fill your platter or tray, choose a different one! It makes all the difference when it comes to presentation.
Fall Snack Board Treat Ideas:
•pumpkin shaped candy corn
•chocolate covered pretzels
•salt water taffy
•chocolate pumpkin candies
Hey friends! With the holidays, as well as Amazon Prime Day (October 13th and 14th) quickly approaching I thought it would be the perfect time for me to start sharing Amazon Gift Guides. I know with today’s technology and fast shipping, everyone’s busy schedules, plus the added issue of COVID-19, more of us than ever will be shopping for gifts online this year. I love Amazon’s wide variety of product offerings. Pair that with their often fast and free shipping and you have a one-stop shop for the holiday season. Today I’m sharing Amazon Gift Guides by year for girls ages newborn (or expecting parent) to seven years old. As a mom of two girls, now 4 and 6 (7 in a few weeks!) and as a mommy blogger, I’ve had the opportunity to test many products on the market for this age range and am sharing our favorites plus a few we haven’t tried yet but have great reviews and we’ve added to our wishlist. I haven’t included boys as I don’t have boys to test and review for a kids opinion of them but some of these shares feature gender neutral gift items. What do you want to see next? What person or people do you struggle knowing what to buy for?

I’ve been wanting to do a Seafood Boil for so long and finally did it last weekend; highly recommend! The flavor was perfect and it was so easy to do. I used three different types of sausage in the boil, all from the Kiolbassa brand. I used their Smoked Beef Sausage, Jalapeño Beef Smoked Sausage and Roasted Garlic Smoked Sausage; we love their meats! The jalapeño and garlic sausages especially added to the overall flavor of our meal.
If you give this a try be sure to come back and let me know what you think! We were super happy with how it turned out and can’t wait to make it again soon! It’s a great one-pot recipe that keeps your dirty dishes to a minimum, always a plus!
I came across my wedding photos the other day. WHOA.😳I’m sure I’m not the only one that recognizes a change. As we age, get married, maybe have babies (and then devote our time and bodies to them) it can be easy to let yourself go a little bit. We stop caring as much about hitting the gym and all of those yummy homemade married meals and desserts (and margaritas!🤣) start taking a bit of a toll. 5 pounds turns to 10. Or 15. Or heck maybe even 50.
Looking back, I can’t remember a time that I DIDN’T want to lose a few pounds. That’s always been me. But as I’ve gotten older and happier with who I am I haven’t worried as much about the extra calories in “one more glass of wine” or eating my kids leftover Mac and cheese for lunch because hey, I don’t want to be wasteful.😬😅
The problem with that is, after a couple years, I found myself looking at someone I didn’t want to be. It’s not just about the weight but about the confidence and how my clothes fit and the things I didn’t want to do because of these new insecurities. I’ve tried diets and cleanses and keto and intermittent fasting and while all of those can leave you with great results, it can be difficult to stick with long term.
For the most part I eat healthy. I focus on salads and vegetables and throw in protein shakes and protein bars when I get hungry. But I’m also not one to turn down a taco Tuesday or a White Claw (or four) #balance.😂I don’t stick to a strict exercise plan and quite honestly I don’t want to. My kids are still little and I like taking them on walks and bike rides or spending our afternoons dancing to songs from The Greatest Showman.
I thought I had gotten to an age that I would always feel self-conscious in a swimsuit, would always be nervous to take my coverup off, would always have that extra belly bloat that reminds me of being 10 weeks pregnant, and always wearing loose t-shirts to hide my midsection. And I was almost okay with it because honestly I didn’t know what else to do. Devoting hours a day to exercise didn’t seem feasible long term and I didn’t want to give up my occasional treats.
INSERT TRIM. I’ve been blown away. The difference I’ve seen so quickly has blown me away. 1 tablespoon, once a day (preferably morning) and I very quickly noticed a difference in my midsection. Clinical-strength CLA inhibits fat storage while Collagen/HA Matrix Technology improves muscle tone and restores youthful skin. It’s been clinically shown to decrease body fat when used with a healthy diet and exercise program. The CLA supports fat metabolism and helps block fat transport from the blood stream into fat cells, inhibiting fat absorption, reducing fat cell size and formation. I’m always skeptical of supplements like this but comparing my before and my 2 weeks in photo had me blown away and now I’ve signed up for monthly auto-ship so I’m never out (saves a couple dollars that way too)!
Here are MY 2 week results. Results may vary.
Hope this was helpful for you guys! I’ve had so many individuals reach out from my community with their own success stories with this and it makes me SO happy to hear! Please reach out to me on Instagram DMs if you have any questions about it; I’m happy to help!☺️❤️
