DIY Easy Dip Nails From Home!

3/30/2020

Happy Monday! Anyone else have no idea that it was Monday when they woke up?!😳🤣Crazy times right now but my family is trying our best to enjoy this time together, not stress or worry too much, and just have fun (while staying safe and following our given recommendations of course)!

Okay though..I can’t be the only one whose nails were looking baddddddd, anyone else?!😆My dip nail grow out was so embarrassing and I was even missing a couple of nails!🙈

I have been wanting and meaning to try my own dip nails at home for a while now because I’ve heard so much about it but never fully committed to ordering a kit and learning how to do it. Until NOW. There’s seriously never been a better time to learn a new skill than now in our current quarantine situation, so I gave it a go and am SO glad I did! It’s easy, affordable, my nails look great, and I’m having so much fun with it! And for the cost of 1-2 salon dip nail experiences I’m able to do it myself over and over and over again!

Shop Rossi Nails Dip Powder & Activators Here

Thank you to Rossi Nails for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.

The cost compared to salon costs are way less per manicure and actual cost breakdown will depend on what set you get but this is the exact one I have! It comes with the three essential application steps (base coat, activator and top coat) as well as four dip powder colors. Right now Rossi is giving my community 20% off (applied automatically through the links I’ve given in this blog post or use code HALEYPARKER if for some reason it doesn’t, but it should be automatic).

Shop the Exact Kit I Have HERE.

The kit provides you with step by step application instructions. I found the steps easy to follow and quickly got the hang of it. The best tip I can give you is to NOT be shy when filing and buffing after the first activator coat (the kit I have does not come with filing or buffing tools so be sure to order some if you don’t already have any on hand). The more smooth and even your nails are prior to the final activator coat and top coat the better. I love the pretty shine the top coat gives your nails; always so fun to see the finished product!

Rossi also sells kabuki brushes for brushing off excess powder during application as well as filing tools.

I’m eager to test out more colors now; it’s addicting!😆I really love the colors in these sets.⬇️What color(s) do you normally paint your nails?!

The colors in this kit above even change color based on the temperature which I thought would be so fun; let me know if you try it!
Let me know if you have any questions and be sure to tag me in your Instagram stories when you give it a try! I’d love to see your gorgeous dip nails and what color(s) you snag!

Talk soon & stay safe friends!
